 It's nearly impossible these days to find a nice hometown diner with good food, good prices, and happy people serving food. Pastel's has ALL of that. They have a varied menu that's not overwhelming and no matter what you order it's tasty and high quality. The Greek diners in the area pale in comparison. THANK YOU for being here! 

 We had an hour between appointments, I checked out my trusty TA app ( I like local owned versus franchised). Seated immediately and drinks served in a flash. Selected Western Omelet and Ruben. Large, delicious portions. Both of us took home enough for dinner that night! The food was hot, seasoned well and attractively plated. Waitress was attentive, but not intrusive. The place was friendly, hometown atmosphere. Will definitely return 

  This is by far the best little diner/restaurant in Peekskill. Food is great and service is better. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel at home. 

 This is the cutest and nicest little diner around. Not sure if Joann is the owner or the manager but she always stops by your table to see how you are. The food and service is great! I recommend it to everyone 

 Great food, very diverse menu, fantastic service, all the staff treat you as family. A place where you can get a quick meal or linger over coffee and conversation. 

 After many, many years of saying, "Hey look, there's a little diner in there; we have to try it," we finally did. While this may not be the most spectacular diner I've ever patronized, it's pretty darn good! Their burgers are fantastic, and I always go in intending to order one, but end up ordering one of their daily specials. Their soups are among the best I've ever had. Portions aren't your typical ginormous diner fare, but there's enough to satisfy.
